Hi my name is Mat,
For 20+ years, I've been competing in a wide range of sports, and I retain the same passion to challenge myself as on the first day I stepped on a field. I have turned my hand to the likes of adventure racing, BJJ, Muay Thai and CrossFit, just to name a few. For the last 15+ years, my role as a coach has allowed me to share my passion and give people the same feeling of accomplishment that compels me each and every day. I believe in consistency and the celebration of little daily improvements. It is these principles that flow through into my coaching. Let's get started!

About Rachel
At Adventure PT & Online Coaching, I work behind the scenes to keep everything organised and running smoothly. From client communication and enquiries to check-ins and support, I help create a seamless experience so our clients feel looked after from the very beginning. While Mat leads the coaching side, I ensure everything else stays on track.
I’m also a mum of three, so I understand firsthand how hard it can be to prioritise your own health while juggling everyday life. Fitness has been a huge part of my life for many years — not just physically but mentally too. It’s helped me build resilience, manage stress, stay focused, and show up as the best version of myself through all the different stages of life and motherhood. Over the years, I’ve challenged myself through bodybuilding and fitness competitions, CrossFit competitions, completing a special forces-style camp, and trekking the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea. These experiences have taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of consistency, both in training and in life.
I truly believe in practising what you preach. Whether it’s training in the gym, getting outdoors, or simply making healthier choices day to day, I’m passionate about creating a lifestyle that feels sustainable, balanced, and enjoyable. My goal is to help create a supportive environment where our clients feel understood, encouraged, and motivated for the long term.
